Ramon Rask participates as judge at the International Criminal Court Moot Court Competition

Last week, RASK partner Ramon Rask participated as a judge at the International Criminal Court Moot Court Competition (ICCMCC) Estonian round to help prepare bright young legal minds for future careers in litigation.

ICCMCC finals are usually held at the Hague, Netherlands, but due to the COVID-related travel bans this year, the Estonian finalist got to practice their skills at the Estonian Prosecutor’s Office. The panel of judges at the moot court was co-chaired by Ramon Rask, head of criminal proceedings team at RASK Attorneys-at-Law; Aleksandr Popov, a recognized academic and lecturer at Estonian Business School; and international law expert Lauri Kriisa.

ICCMCC is an annual international moot court competition on international criminal law organised by the Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies of Leiden University, The Hague Campus, with the institutional support of the International Criminal Court and International Bar Association. The Estonian round was organized by the State Prosecutors Office and University of Tartu School of Law.
