Andrei Svištš represents Estonia in international training programme on criminal proceedings in Barcelona
Elected by the Estonian Bar Association as the sole representative of Estonia, RASK attorney Andrei Svištš attended the third session of NETPRALAT, a pan-European training programme in criminal law, held in Barcelona. The programme aims to enhance the knowledge of criminal law experts in regard to rights arising from EU directives and hone the practical skills of criminal lawyers relating to pre-trial procedures to ensure the best legal protection for their clients.
The three-day NETPRALAT training event took place in Barcelona on 9–11 July. The trainers were seasoned experts in law, psychology and social science from the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and Spain. Estonia received an invitation for one participant and this time Andrei was elected to represent the Estonian Bar Association.
NETPRALAT is a non-profit organisation specialising in European-wide training events aimed to enhance the practical skills of criminal law specialists in pre-trial proceedings and promote cross-border cooperation between lawyers.
