Annika Vait is a partner at the law firm RASK, co-heading the advisory department and is one of Estonia's most highly regarded business advisors. With nearly two decades of experience in corporate advisory, Annika has repeatedly garnered high recognitions in international legal market reviews. Notably, one of the world's largest legal directory publications, Legal500, awarded Annika the highly esteemed "Leading Individual" & "Leading Partner" titles in the field of Corporate and M&A for 2024 & 2025. Annika advises clients on matters ranging from corporate law, M&A, labor law, to ongoing business advisory issues, including contract drafting, negotiations, and, when necessary, dispute resolution.
Prior to joining RASK, Annika spent about a decade as an entrepreneur, serving as a partner, founder, and leader at the law firm ALTERNA. This experience enables her to understand entrepreneurs' needs well and focus on finding effective solutions. Consequently, many clients within Annika's portfolio rely on her daily legal advisory services, seeking assistance with various business-related issues.
For over a decade, Annika has been active in the Estonian Bar Association's Business Law Committee, contributing as an active member to Estonia's legal development. Additionally, she has co-authored handbooks for Äripäev and has been a collaborative partner with Addenda in maintaining legal blogs.
In addition to the aforementioned roles, Annika is a member of the Equal Treatment and Well-being Working Group at the Responsible Business Forum, and has dedicated years to contributing to the Human Rights Center's annual reports and promoting legal work through various programs. Annika's work has also been recognized by the Estonian Bar Association, as she was presented as one of the nominees for the "Diamond" title last year.
