Mariann Avi-Allas

Mariann is a broad-minded, determined, solution-oriented lawyer with over 10 years of work experience in the private and public sectors. Before joining RASK, Mariann acquired legal experience from the Enterprise Estonia, the Tallinn Strategy Center, as well as the Police and Border Guard Board, where she conducted complex public procurements and trainings, compiled work procedures, led a team of specialists, participated in law-making, advised the organization's management on various legal issues, ensured the compliance of the organization's activities with data protection requirements and represented the organization in dispute and court proceedings.

In addition to her extensive experience in the public sector, Mariann also has a proven track record in legal representation of clients through her own company. She successfully resolved complex legal issues for clients, achieving solutions that met their needs.

At RASK, Mariann primarily specializes in data protection, administrative, contract, public procurement, and labor law, supporting attorneys with diverse work experience in these legal fields.

Mariann's academic journey is marked by her two master's degrees in law and IT law from the University of Tartu. Her commitment to continuous learning is evident in her participation in various further education programs, including the CRESSE summer school in competition law and data protection law at Tallinn University of Technology and the Academy of European Law.

In addition to her extensive experience as a legal professional, Mariann has trained future HR specialists in labor law as part of PARE's basic training program.
