Maarja Roht
Fields of expertise
Maarja is a legal expert with a diverse and strong insolvency background who has practised for a long time as a bankruptcy trustee and, immediately before joining RASK, as a legal advisor for the business and consumer environment at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications. In addition to insolvency issues, Maarja supports RASK lawyers in resolving large-scale litigation and preparing legal analyses.
Maarja has worked in the field of insolvency for over ten years. Maarja also contributes to the Chamber of Bailiffs and Bankruptcy Trustees as the Board Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Professional Association.
Maarja has diverse experience from the public sector and has previously worked at the Harju County Court and the Ministry of Justice. Maarja conducts training on insolvency-related topics and has significantly contributed to revising Estonian insolvency law.
